The Bay Harbor Foundation is hosting its first ever Labor Day Weekend Yard Sale! Everyone is invited to come enjoy great bargains on gently used items, all the while benefiting local non-profit organizations through the Bay Harbor Foundation.
Many Bay Harbor Foundation members and Bay Harbor homeowners will come together and host individual sales as they clean out their homes after a long summer. The Bay Harbor Foundation will also have its own sale, which will include items donated from homeowners who are not able to be present on the day of the event. This exciting event will be a great way to visit a variety of yard sales all at one convenient and central location. Proceeds from the yard sale will benefit the Bay Harbor Foundation, allowing it to continue to aid the numerous local non-profit organizations the Foundation helps each year.
The yard sale will be held on Friday, August 29 from 10 a.m.-7 p.m., and on Saturday, August 30 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The sale will take place in the parking lot across from the Bay Harbor Building, at the intersection of Bay Harbor Drive and Main Street.

The Up North Big Band is a group of eighteen talented musicians from across northern Michigan who come together to preserve the musical heritage of the "Big Band Era." Entertaining audiences since 1996 they are sure to entertain you with their playbook of over 300 songs from the 30's, 40's and 50's.
The concert is free and will be held from 5 PM to 7 PM. Blankets are provided for outdoor seating. An alternate rain site is available should the weather become inclement.

Castle Farms is proud to present the 5th Annual Royal Craft Show.
The grounds and buildings of Castle Farms will be the host to one of Michigan's most prestigious craft shows. This craft show will feature only the finest arts and crafts. Show times are 10am to 5pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
Free parking with a $3.00 admission fee. Children under 12 are admitted free. Food is available at a nominal charge. Pets are not allowed.

Weekend events start at 6:00pm with the NuCore Triangle in Lake Charlevoix with a party following at the Charlevoix Yacht Club. The race begins at 11:00am Saturday in Charlevoix and goes to Boyne City - on Sunday it starts at 11:00am again but goes from Boyne City to Charlevoix. There's a party in the park Saturday night open to racers and non-racers with Dave Cisco performing. Tickets are available on-line. Come watch the fun!
